Topic: Practical Approaches to NFV Orchestration Deployment - Ensuring Effective Management of Infrastructure

Day 2, Wednesday, May 27 at 12:05pm (Track A)

NFV promises huge cost savings, increases service agility and network flexibility. However, there are some practical approaches to consider that allows operators to effectively manage NFV infrastructure. In this session you will gain insights from Mavenir Systems while deploying NFV Orchestration technologies.

  • What strategy to implement
  • What changes to bring in the mode of operation
  • When and what to virtualize

Network Virtualization & SDN World

In 2014, SDN and NFV are definitely on the up! In 2013, IDC predicted that SDN revenues will hit $3.7 billion in revenue by 2016, and this might even be an underestimate if more recent analyst articles are to be believed. Yet how can operators make sure that the areas of the network that they choose to virtualize will bring them best-possible return on investment? And which are the areas which hold the most promise as the industry swiftly expands? Join us as we delve into the world of network virtualization and software-defined architecture and become part of the conversation! Learn more!
