CAMBRIDGE UK, 28th May 2020 – ip.access, a Mavenir company since September 2020, the leading small cell specialist, today announces that its latest OpenAir API software release enables System Integrators (SIs) and Value Added Resellers (VARs) to significantly increase Network Listen (NWL) optimisation in the S60z multi-RAT Software Defined Radio (SDR) platform. Through this software upgrade, customers can take advantage of an increased level of insight and control in real time, delivering agility in decision making and an NWL time saving of up-to 85%.
The S60z Access Point (AP) Module is a compact small cell based SDR which allows integrators to quickly build their own cellular platform. The platform is frequency agile from 450MHz to 3.8GHz, supporting all standard 3GPP bands for 2G, 3G and 4G (LTE, FDD and TDD) and R15 non-standalone (NSA) 5G primary cell capability.
