Ashok Khuntia

Ashok is a recognized leader in engineering and mobile technology and is responsible for a number of global industry-firsts: the first live VoWiFi deployment, the first live VoLTE deployment, the first live RCS deployment, and numerous other innovations.

Prior to his current role, Ashok co-founded Ranzure Networks, an early stage 5G and Cloud RAN solutions company acquired by Xura. Prior to Ranzure he was EVP, Engineering and New Product Introduction at Mitel Mobility (formerly Mavenir Systems). Ashok was an early employee of Mavenir Systems and a key architect of the mOne convergence platform, the foundational force for transformational wireless IP solutions.

Prior to joining Mavenir, Ashok was a Senior Architect at Cisco Systems where he was involved in the development of Cisco call server and BTS soft switch. Prior to this, Ashok worked as a key technical architect for IPMobile (later acquired by Cisco Systems) where he worked on wireless bandwidth broker technology.

Ashok received a Bachelor in Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela in India and a Masters in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in Industrial Management. He also has an MBA degree from the University of Dallas.
