Converged Voice Solutions

Mavenir is addressing the mobile operator’s need to tranform mobile voice services to an all IP-based core network (Mobile Cloud Services). Mobile Operators can introduce enhanced voice services for consumers and enterprise customers on standard mobiles and new IP-enabled devices, with or without IMS.  Converged Voice Solutions include:

Voice over LTE   or VoLTE, empowers 4G LTE operators to offer rich voice, video and messaging services as a core offering. Voice over LTE or VoLTE, provides drastic cost savings and enables new services such as Video calling, One number and media sharing services across mobile broadband devices. Mavenir's VoLTE solution includes MSC TAS which offers rapid service delivery and service parity with current 2G/3G mobiles.  Mavenir’s Convergence TAS, based on MMTEL, supports MAP and ANSI-41 services with built in CAMEL or WIN triggers.  Mobile operators can cost effectively offer consistent voice services in the IMS domain, while launching new telephony services. The Convergence TAS complements the Mobility Server to provide critical mobility functions such as VCC, SR-VCC and SCC to enable seamless mobility across IMS and GSM, UMA, UMTS or CDMA (ANSI-41) networks.

Mobile VoIP   Mobile Voice over IP or Voice over WiFi (VoWiFi), empowers operators to offer MSC-based voice services on new IP devices and offer differentiated products that extend mobile services beyond the traditional mobile. Mavenir's MSC based TAS, enables any standard MSC to become an IETF SIP or IMS Telephony Application Server, accelerating delivery of Mobile VoIP and messaging services over LTE, WiMAX, WiFi or Fixed IP. Operators can rapidly launch mobile services over PC clients, SIP ATA adapters and Mobile VoIP (Voice over WiFi) clients on smart phones and tablets. Operators gain by leveraging integration of existing MSC with service ubiquity, provisioning, billing and regulatory systems.

Connected Home-Connected Office empowers operators to deliver converged voice and messaging services, using an all-IP core, to devices connected over IP-based small cells such as Pico or Femto cells. Mavenir's solution delivers MMTEL, GSM/UMTS MAP or CDMA ANSI 41 services to connect 2G (GSM and CDMA), UMA and 3G-CS cells directly into an IMS core to provide voice and messaging services. IM and Presence are enhanced services that can offer added value in the residential or enterprise coverage zone.

All Converged Voice solutions are based on relevant 3GPP/2 and OMA standards, with open interfaces towards existing network elements or 3rd party applications. All the IMS solutions are available with optional core enablers integrated onboard with our application servers, simplifying deployment and lowering costs. The Mavenir enablers include I/S-CSCF, XDMS & HSS adapter applications. Turnkey IMS core network is also available with partner products for HSS, P-CSCF, SBC and Media Gateways.
