Rich Communication Suite (GSMA) or RCS, is a presence-enabled IP messaging and media sharing services suite which is gaining momentum as operators launch globally interoperable, socially interactive services to build loyal mobile communities. Mavenir provides a complete modular solution to launch RCS services over 3G and 4G networks. Mavenir's Converged Messaging Solution bundles the IMS core and application server components as a “RCS-in-a-box” solution, which reduces cost of entry and accelerates enhanced service deployment.

Converged IP Messaging (OMA CPM) is transforming of the messaging core network to manage global SMS and MMS growth while transitioning services to IP-based access network and devices.  CPM adds new capabilities such as message synchronization, storage and interworking which provides the framework for new services.  Mavenir's Converged Messaging solutions allow operators to implement open network business models by exposing messaging, CPM and RCS service capabilities using Web/REST APIs. These are used to deliver web messaging services and accelerate adoption of messaging service enablers by 3rd party application developers.

SMS/MMS Solutions - Mavenir offers a highly scalable and distributed Converged Messaging Solution that drastically reduces the costs to deliver high volume SMS and MMS (> 5x lower cost than competition) and enables SMS and MMS services using the same platform to deliver IP-based RCS and CPM messaging services. Mavenir has redefined the traditional SMSC by adopting a layered IP architecture to handle messages with an intelligent router for first delivery attempt (SMS or MMS FDA), using SIP for backhaul and IP delivery, and services engine and messaging gateways to manage Value Added Services.  All driven by an open, centralized HSS/SPS subscriber database for personalized service profiles.

LTE Messaging - Mavenir's Converged Messaging Solution enables the delivery of traditional SMS and MMS services over 4G LTE access to ensure service availability and delivery to new consumer, entertainment and enterprise devices. This is a critical application for operators deploying 4G (WiMAX or LTE). While SMS delivery is standardized by 3GPP as IP-SM Gateway, MMS inter-working is Mavenir’s innovative extension to simplify transition of SMS and MMS to IMS based networks.

Social Networks Aggregation provides mobile operators the ability to lower network costs by optimizing the social networks traffic and offer value of simplicity to the end users. Mavenir offers a solution that enables personalized delivery of social feeds to end users, manages contacts across various social networks and exposes common set of operator controlled API to accelerate differentiated services in the network and on the operator branded devices. Mavenir has also bundled RCS with Social Networks, to make a compelling value for a sophisticated social user.

Mavenir's Converged Messaging Solutions focus on launching critical and innovative messaging services for mobile operators with technology enablers which can be seamlessly integrated into existing network environments. All the Converged Messaging solutions are based on relevant 3GPP/2 and OMA standards, with standard and open interfaces towards existing network elements or 3rd party applications.

IMS-based solutions such as SMS and MMS over LTE, RCS and CPM are available with optional core enablers integrated onboard with our application servers, simplifying deployment and lowering costs. The Mavenir enablers include I/S-CSCF, XDMS & HSS adapter applications. Turnkey IMS core network is also available with partner products for HSS, P-CSCF, SBC and Media Gateways.
