Mobile VoIP Mavenir offers unique new services with rapid Time to Market!! Mobile operators can offer their subscribers new VoIP-based digital phone services without having to implement an IP Core. Drastically improve the business case by utilizing the existing mobile core network (MSC) to deliver Voice over IP and operators do not need to invest in deploying a parallel VoIP core saving both CAPEX and OPEX. Unique Business Value: Service Differentiation / Network Transformation - Multi Device (or Access) Voice Users can choose the devices while connecting using the existing mobile core network. Operators can offer primary or secondary line voice service over any 4G or residential broadband connection – Voice over WiFi (SIP and UMA support) Voice over LTE (including support for VOLGA), Voice over WiMAX, and Mobile Voice over fixed devices. The types of devices can be any of the following:
Service Differentiation - One Number One number makes users reachable across any device with their unique number identity tied to the user, not the device. For incoming calls to a single number, all provisioned broadband devices within the group may be alerted, allowing the freedom to choose any device to answer a call. One number service across mobile and broadband devices can also be enabled with MSC/IN or IP based Service Node concepts. Service Differentiation - Mobility Unique mobility options to provide service differentiation such as Push to Move/Push to Grab across various broadband devices. Solution components: Enabling VoIP service from the Mobile core network is accomplished as a relatively simple overlay to the existing core network. The solution can best be described as a SIP BSC (Base Station Controller) that provides IP-based network connectivity for SIP-enabled VoIP devices. Introduction is seamless - the mOne(tm) solution connects to the existing MSC via open standard A Interface. To further add to the simplicity of the solution, the mobile operator uses the existing provisioning and billing systems for VoIP service. Click to see architecture In the IMS model, the SIP BSC connects to any standard compliant IMS core S-CSCF as an application server. In this model the MSC in combination with the Mavenir SIP BSC acts as a Telephony Application Server (TAS).
